1. General Terms & Conditions
Core Terms:
Clients are responsible for understanding that the sessions provided by Megan Maanao, LLC are based on energetic and ancestral guidance, and results may vary.
All services are provided as a guide or support for personal healing; they are not intended as medical advice or a substitute for professional therapy.
Guidelines for Interaction:
Respectful Engagement: Clients are expected to engage with the content, services, and public materials provided by Megan Maanao, LLC respectfully. This includes all website content, blog posts, videos, articles, writings, rituals, and other publicly available resources.
Personal Use Only: Any content, whether available publicly or provided through services (such as writings, rituals, energy work, etc.), is meant solely for personal use. Content from Megan Maanao, LLC may not be redistributed, republished, or shared for personal or commercial purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, clips, reels, or any other form of online or offline publication, without explicit written permission from Megan Maanao, LLC.
Respect for Boundaries: Whether engaging in private sessions or interacting with public content, clients and visitors are asked to honor the boundaries set by Megan Maanao, LLC, which includes refraining from using content or materials, or the use of content or materials in a way that distorts the original intention or message.
2. Privacy Policy
Data Collection:
Megan Maanao, LLC collects personal information (name, email, payment info) when clients book sessions, services, or sign up for newsletters.
Information is used for communication, scheduling, and providing services.
Security of Data:
All client data is securely stored and not shared with third parties without consent, except when legally required.
Payment details are handled via secure payment processors and are never shared, distributed, or sold to third parties by Megan Maanao, LLC.
Cookies/Tracking:
Megan Maanao, LLC may use cookies to enhance the user experience (e.g., remembering preferences). Clients can opt-out of cookies if they choose.
Access to Data:
Clients can request to review or delete their personal information by contacting Megan Maanao, LLC directly.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Rescheduling:
Rescheduling is available up to 24 hours prior to the date of the booked 1:1 services. This includes The Treehouse weekly call only. Rescheduling is not available for workshops, programs, or group calls. Extenuating circumstances occurring less than 24 hours prior to a 1:1 service may be eligible for rescheduling at the discretion of Megan Maanao, LLC.
Cancellations:
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice for any booked service (including 1:1 sessions, workshops, programs, group calls, and membership services) may result in the forfeit of any refund or reimbursement. This decision is at the discretion of Megan Maanao, LLC.
You may cancel membership to The Treehouse at any time before the next billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for the remaining term. You will retain access to The Treehouse and its community (including the Discord server) until the end of the agreed-upon term. Cancellations will not stop future payments from being processed. You are still responsible for the full payment of the remaining term, regardless of cancellation.
If you cancel your The Treehouse membership before the end of the agreed-upon term, you will still be responsible for paying for the remaining term. The subscription will not renew beyond the agreed-upon term. You will continue to have access to The Treehouse and the community Discord server until the end of the agreed-upon term.
Refunds:
Refunds are available if a session, workshop, program, or group call is canceled by Megan Maanao, LLC, or under special circumstances. However, refunds are not typically offered for missed sessions, workshops, programs, group calls, or changes made with short notice. Refunds will not be provided if a client's expectations were not met, but the service was still provided as agreed upon. This decision is at the discretion of Megan Maanao, LLC.
Subscriptions to The Treehouse are non-refundable. No refunds will be provided for payments made during the term, even if canceled early, unless specified otherwise in exceptional circumstances.
Refunds will not be granted for members of The Treehouse if they miss or cancel a weekly call.
Late/Missed Sessions:
If a client is more than 15 minutes late to a 1:1 session, workshop, program, or group call without prior notice, the service will be considered a no-show, and the client will not receive a refund or reimbursement. No-shows will not be eligible for rescheduling or refunds. This decision is at the discretion of Megan Maanao, LLC.
Rescheduling or refunds will not be granted for members of The Treehouse if they miss or cancel a weekly call.
4. Payment Terms
Payment Methods:
Payments are accepted via credit card, PayPal, or another secure payment processor.
Due Date:
Full payment is due at the time of booking services (1:1 session, workshop, group call, etc.), unless other arrangements, such as payment plans, have been made with Megan Maanao, LLC.
Failure to make payment will result in the cancellation of the booked service.
Late Fees:
Late fees will apply if payment is not made within the agreed-upon timeframe, and services may be paused until payment is received by Megan Maanao, LLC.
The Treehouse Membership Subscriptions:
Commitment Period:
When you subscribe to The Treehouse, you are committing to the agreed-upon term (e.g., 3 months, 6 months). Subscriptions are billed monthly unless you choose to pay in full for the entire term upfront.
Subscriptions to The Treehouse are non-refundable. No refunds will be provided for payments made during the term, even if canceled early, unless specified otherwise in exceptional circumstances.
Cancellations:
You may cancel your The Treehouse subscription at any time before the next billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for the remaining term. You will retain access to The Treehouse and its community (including the Discord server) until the end of the agreed-upon term. Cancellations will not stop future payments from being processed. You are still responsible for the full payment of the remaining term, regardless of cancellation.
Failure to Submit Payment:
If a member fails to submit payment on time, The Treehouse membership will be paused. This means that you forfeit your scheduled weekly call, and access to The Treehouse community and Discord server, as well as private communication with Megan Maanao, LLC facilitator(s) will be revoked until payment is received. Membership will remain paused until the outstanding payment is fully processed. No services will be provided during this time.
Renewals:
The Treehouse subscription will not automatically renew beyond the agreed-upon term. Once the term ends, the subscription will expire, and no further payments will be processed unless you choose to re-subscribe.
Access to The Treehouse and the community Discord server will be revoked at the end of the term if you do not renew your subscription.
Early Cancellations:
If you cancel your The Treehouse membership before the end of the agreed-upon term, you will still be responsible for paying for the remaining term. The subscription will not renew beyond the agreed-upon term. You will continue to have access to The Treehouse and the community Discord server until the end of the agreed-upon term.
5. Client Expectations & Responsibilities
Engagement:
Clients are expected to come with an open mind and a willingness to explore and engage with the services, memberships, programs, workshops, subscriptions, group calls, and other offerings provided by Megan Maanao, LLC.
Emotional openness and active participation will support the healing process, but clients should also feel comfortable expressing boundaries and needs throughout their engagement.
Conduct:
Respect for the space, the process, and the facilitator is key. Harassment, disrespect, or manipulation of any kind directed toward Megan Maanao, LLC and its facilitator(s), or other clients, members, or participants will first be met with conflict resolution efforts.
If restoration and repair are not possible, or if there is a continuation of this behavior, it will result in the individual being removed from the space without refund or reimbursement and banned from booking future sessions or services. This decision is at the discretion of Megan Maanao, LLC.
Availability:
Session availability and communication will be outlined in your agreement with Megan Maanao, LLC.
Response times may vary, and clients are asked to respect that Megan Maanao, LLC will respond when there is the time and energy to dedicate to the engagement, if a response is given at all. Patience and respect for availability, capacity, and energy is greatly appreciated.
Joining membership spaces such as The Treehouse does not entitle or guarantee immediate responses or continuous engagement with Megan Maanao, LLC.
Limited follow-up support may be offered outside of scheduled sessions.
6. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure
Privacy:
Any information shared during sessions with Megan Maanao, LLC is confidential. Client details will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law or with explicit consent.
Exceptions:
In rare cases (e.g., a direct threat to safety), confidentiality may be broken in accordance with ethical and legal requirements.
Confidentiality of Sessions:
Clients agree not to share any recordings from booked services (including 1:1 sessions, group events, memberships, etc.), whether in full or partial form, including but not limited to segments, clips, reels, screenshots, or screen recordings, without explicit permission from Megan Maanao, LLC. This includes any content created during the service, such as personal discussions, rituals, or practices shared in the course of the session.
Confidentiality of Other Participants' Content:
Clients are also required to respect the confidentiality of other clients, members, or participants.
Any content shared by other individuals during sessions, workshops, or group events is private and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without the explicit consent of the individual who shared it.
Community Spaces (e.g., The Treehouse Discord Server):
The confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations extend to community spaces such as The Treehouse Discord server or other group forums.
Clients are prohibited from sharing any content, private messages, or personal information shared by other members in these spaces. This includes not sharing, recording, or posting segments, screenshots, or recordings of discussions or materials shared within the community.
Consent for Public Sharing:
Megan Maanao, LLC may request consent from clients or members to publicly or anonymously share testimonials, reviews, feedback, inspirations, insights, or any other content related to the services, offerings, or spaces provided.
Clients have the right to decline this request, and Megan Maanao, LLC will honor their decision without any impact on the relationship or services provided.
7. Intellectual Property
Ownership of Content:
Megan Maanao, LLC retains full ownership of all materials created for clients and all content on the website, social media, or any other public presence, including but not limited to images, photos, blog posts, videos, audio, writings, vectors, and other materials.
These materials are intended for personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes or personal use on social media or other private or public platforms without explicit permission from Megan Maanao, LLC.
Usage:
Clients may not share, copy, distribute, or alter any content or materials provided by Megan Maanao, LLC, whether privately or publicly, without prior written permission. This includes but is not limited to rewording, distorting, or making any minor changes to the content or materials in a way that changes its original intent.
Clients are encouraged to respect the sacredness and integrity of the content and materials provided.
8. Dispute Resolution
Conflict Resolution:
In case of disputes, Megan Maanao, LLC will make an effort to engage in direct and respectful communication with the client to find a resolution.
Megan Maanao, LLC is not obligated to engage in public or private discourse that is disrespectful, defamatory, or harmful to the reputation of the business, facilitator, or the individual.
Megan Maanao, LLC reserves the right to disengage from any conversation or communication that becomes hostile or unproductive without explanation.
Mediation:
If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, mediation may be used to resolve the issue in a neutral and respectful manner.
9. Updates & Changes
Policy Updates:
These policies may be updated periodically. Clients are encouraged to review the Policies page regularly to ensure they are aware of the latest terms.
Staying Informed:
It is the client's responsibility to stay informed of any changes to these policies.
Megan Maanao, LLC is not obligated to inform clients individually about policy updates but will make an effort to acknowledge updates through public platforms or a website banner announcement when changes occur.
