Disturb Me
Do not prioritize my comfort,
Disturb me out of familiarity
into acceptance and compassion.
Do not weave lies to shield me,
Disturb me beyond fixed beliefs,
Into the embrace of enlightened truths.
Do not veil your authenticity,
Disturb me; reveal your untamed beauty,
So I may truly see and appreciate.
Do not shrink, suppress or contort
Disturb me with the impact of your Being
Shock me with your cries
Impale me with your rage
Do not shy from confronting my ego,
Disturb me into growth and awareness,
Awaken me from this self-imposed slumber.
Please, I beg,
Disturb my Being
Discomfort my Ego
Shake my perception
Shatter my existence
Pull me from the haze of Ordinary Reality,
Strip me of all that I think I know,
Liberate me from this fragile shell
Lure me into the Void
Drown me in Shadow’s Darkness
Sink me further into the wild Unknown
Because there, amongst the rubble,
I find the will
The light
The Way back to your Heavenly embrace
And truly see
Truly recognize
Truly accept
Truly love
Truly Be.
Please, disturb me.
